Isolation Series: Snow Peace

Walking through the forest after a heavy snowfall is one of the most peaceful and beautiful winter pursuits for me. Row upon row of pines and firs stretch out, heaped in frosty blue and white stillness. My boots crunch along unmarked trails adding soft squeaks to wind whispers and chickadee song: “Peace, peace, peace, for today, and bright hope for tomorrow...”
