Gallery ready for Friday's opening!

HEARTBEAT opened this past Friday evening at Arts Underground - the Yukon Art Society's gallery in Whitehorse YT. What a fabulous evening celebrating a year's worth of work with so many friends and family! Kathy, Edwige and myself hadn't seen each other in over a year. Discovering one another's creations for the show was like Christmas and being together again was a gift too!

A couple of last minute pieces - aptly named 'late bloomers'. Sometimes I think a show is all wrapped up and wham! -  another creation tempts my imagination. For these latest works I've been painting on gold painted panels - letting the process birth the ideas. Totally fun!
