Spring Thaw at Kusuwa - SOLD

8x8 acrylic on canvas
With the warming of the weather and the lengthening of our days, winter ice is breaking up and water is begining to flow freely. There are numerous lakes nearby- like Kusuwa, where we can walk along the remnants of melting ice and snow and picture ourselves enjoying a day at the lake in the summer to come.

Gold Strike on the S.S. Klondike SOLD

10x20 acrylic on canvas
Driving in to town I pass by this scene. If I'm lucky, I catch the sun striking the sternwheeler as it crests above the mountains. At just the right moment a golden sparkle reflects off so many surfaces - snow, river mist, and this familiar landmark in Whitehorse. It is all I can do to keep my eyes on the road, but, sometimes I do pull over, and take time to watch yet another Yukon light show play over the land. I am never disappointed.

Legendary Prospects SOLD

This painting was many months in the making and was featured in my solo show "SEASONS" at Northend Gallery in February. Measuring 32x42 inches, this is by far the largest piece I have painted.
It is comprised of legends and images I have absorbed since living in the the Yukon. It is also a montage of how I like to play with acrylics.
