This painting is for this week's Different Strokes Challenge hosted by Karin Jurick. The photo subject was a beach scene with several figures in it. I chose to focus in on this little girl.
Hi Glenda, I am looking through your gallery for the SCS Inspiration Challenge and find your masterpieces just that - inspirational!!! I am going to be casing this painting, and just wanted you to know that your work is incredible! Your art is indeed a gift Glenda, so good to see you using it!!! Lovely Linda (SCS)
Love this picture of the little girl on the beach....people are so hard to paint, I can't believe how talented you are at painting both people and landscape. It is truly amazing!
Thank you for all your wonderful comments! I haven't done a lot of figure painting so I approached this with a bit of fear and trepidation. To be honest, I kept it cropped and small because I thought it doable that way.
Oh! This is my favorite one of your paintings!!! You do beautiful work on all of them, but the ocean always speaks to my soul. This one brings back memories of myself & my children standing in awe gazing out to sea. You've really captured the essence of that moment. Yvonne
