PORCUPINE

On winter forest walks I have noticed piles of cedar debris lying at the foot of many trees. I was told if you look way up, you might be lucky enough to spot a porcupine. Sure enough, on this remembered occasion, I witnessed a prickly lunching and a scatter bunching from a porcupine munching on greens.
