Flight of Steps - SOLD

                                           8x10 acrylic SOLD

It has been a while since I've been able to participate in the Different Strokes from Different Folks challenges. This subject was a doozie! I was particularly taken with the contrasts: light & dark, lines & circles, as well as the perspective, and immediate sense of movement in the photo. I chose to use a textured 8x10 canvas. In my mind, it added to the sense of motion.

Great job with the challenge, Glenda - it has a wonderful sense of light to it.

This is nice Glenda. I do like that textured background. It's got a nice sense of rhythm.

What a wonderful painting, Glenda. I really like your composition...it really gives you the sense of the "largeness" of an airport terminal.

Thank you for your visit to my blog. Your take on Karin's DSDF challenge is great. I like your sense of light and dark here, a lot of contrast. I'm going to "follow" you now :-)
