Sunshot - SOLD

                                                           12x16 Acrylic on Canvas SOLD

The first time I visited Crag Lake, YT I took the opportunity to walk along the cross country ski trails carved into the frozen lake surface. The sun was brilliant, heading down, making everything along the shore - trees, shacks, & snowbanks - glow with intense winter light... everything sun-shot.

                                                             9x12 Acrylic on canvas

White Pass Wonder

                                                      8x10 Acrylic on canvas STOLEN

We took a ride on the White Pass Train when we first arrived in the Yukon. The day was amazingly clear, affording us a wonderful view of landscape. I remember being impacted by the plunging valleys, the snow capped mountains, and the tiny snake of a railroad that weaves up and down, in and out, and around the land. What a feat of wonder!

Highway Heft in Purple: Heading Home

                                                         12x16 Acrylic on Canvas

It is very common to encounter trailers, trucks, cars, bicycles, campers and boats in transit on Yukon highways. The contrast in size between the vehicles and the brooding, towering mountains,  I find most pleasing.
